How to Sign PDFs on a Chromebook

ChromeOS lacks a powerful built-in PDF editor like Mac Preview. Here is how to sign documents without installing heavy Android apps.

The Chrome PDF Viewer

The default Chrome viewer is great for reading, but terrible for editing. It recently added basic annotation, but it often struggles with adding clean text and images.

The Web-Native Solution

Because Chromebooks are designed around the browser, the best tool is a browser-native app. uSignPDF runs entirely via JavaScript. It doesn't require a Chrome Extension or an Android App install.

Simply open the PDF Signer tool, select the file from your local ChromeOS Downloads folder, add your signature, and save it right back.
